Benefits
Following the Morpheus8 procedure, exosome therapy can be used to support the skin and boost the results of the treatment. Exosomes can help reduce the skin’s recovery time by half and as they stay active for as long as eight months, they will extend the duration of the results.
How Does It Work
The exosomes consistency is similar to aloe vera gel and is applied topically to the treated skin. They can help soothe any potential discomfort and reduce redness that may occur while your skin recovers. Frequently half the treatment dose is applied the morning following the procedure which may extend the beneficial effects.
Preparation and Aftercare
There is no specific preparation required for the addition of exosome to Morpheus procedure. Aftercare may involve application of a part of the exosome treatment the morning following the procedure.
Downtime
Downtime is related to the primary procedure of Morpheus8 itself. However, noticeable improvement in the recovery time is noted with exosomes with a significant reduction in the duration of redness.
Frequency
Most people start to notice results of the treatment within around three weeks but this may vary. There may be ongoing improvement in your skin within the first three months. The duration of improvement is enhanced with the addition of exosome therapy which increases the duration between treatments required. Initial treatments typically involve three procedures one to two months apart and then maintenance treatments yearly.
